There is a vegan menu with five items-- add soyrizo is a nice touch. Beach paintings for sale from a local artist give the space a nice pop of color. Pretty busy on a Monday at 11, but the servers are attentive towards customers. Overall, it's a great place to have breakfast or brunch by the beach.

This place is amazing!! The loco moco and the pancakes. Incredible. Great cold brew. Excellent service. I cannot wait to go back!

Excellent breakfast food! It was all delicious but the pancakes and French toast are really special. Service was friendly and pretty fast.

Great little spot in town. The interior has your classic diner vibes going along with a friendly staff and super scrumptious food! Veggie Mission Omelette - Loaded with veggies and topped with salsa verde, avocado, and sour cream. Came with the most amazing house potatoes. They were flavor packed with a texture of soft yet crunchy. This dish was also served with a thick rosemary bread. Our waiter was attentive and our food came out timely. Love this spot! Will be coming back to try the rest of their menu.

Definitely our favorite Breakfast Place in SD! Great food and wonderful service. Since our last visit, the menu has really expanded. It was so hard to chose today! First off, nice coffee drink options! They are excellent true batista drinks! Generous sizes for the prices! We had a Mocha Latte, Thai Coffee, and a standard drip. All were great! Food as always so good, with fresh ingredients. Prices are very reasonable as well. My husband had the Loco Moco and he couldn't stop raving about the dish and the rice! I had the Housemade Cinnamon Roll French toast with eggs/bacon upgrade. Very yummy! I can't believe I ate the whole thing but I did! Our son had the Lemon Curd Pancakes with the eggs/bacon upgrade, too much food for him but it will make a great snack later! Service as always was excellent. Helpful and attentive. Parking is on the street or a paid (small lot) across the street. There can be a line but it moves quickly. They do a good job accommodating large parties as well.

The hubs and I walked here from the heart of the Gaslamp district because everything else was packed. It was about an 11 minute walk. Worth it. We were greated and seated right away. Our server, Christine, was the sweetest person! She made the experience even brighter! I ordered the ABC Omelette and it was delicious. The hubs ordered the pancakes and loved them. The rosemary bread is unreal. It was just heavenly. Never had anything like it.
